Randy Schwandt Pottery

Here is a quick look at some wheel thrown pottery by me.  Another reason I love going to TN, I get to get my hands dirty.  Everything here was glaze fired after this picture.

Fishing Buddies

Another shot from the boat.  There wasn’t a whole lot of traffic on the lake that day.

Lone Stump

For the first time in a long time, I didn’t take that many shots when I went to visit my mom in Tennessee last week for Thanksgiving.  I did however get to get out on thier new boat and took some shots and this one I particularly liked.  The water levels were down quite a bit so it exposed some fish houses.

Fall Colors

We got some rain Friday night, and I had to be up early saturday and it was nice and sunny. Our maples in the front yard are VERY RED!  Tried to take some pictures and this one I am happy with.  Although I just can’t figure out how to crop it =)

Another 2 Year old Photographer

This was taken last month sometime.  One of those shots I vaguely remember taking.  I needed some filler for this new theme I am using and figured the B&W Conversion would work good. Anyway, here you go:

Pee Wee Football Shot

Summer is almost gone, and I have succesfully neglected this blog for another warm season. Which brings me to my favorite time of the year for sports, only this year it’s extra special.  College Football started, NFL starts tomorrow (with my Fantasy Draft just two days old), Baseball playoff races have begun..

And this year, I am a coach.  Yes I volunteered to coach a bunch of 4-6 year olds for flag football.  The NorthWest Football League Vikings.  My oldest has started not only kindergarten, but his athletic career.    The only bad thing about it (if you could call it that) is I can’t shoot photographs of him myself.  I am relying on either my lovely bride, or my dad to shoot.  So hopefully they can continue to get some good shots.

Speaking of good shots.  I went last Sunday to practice some sports shooting, (Little League Tackle football) also the Vikings.    Here are one of the better shots:

Aperture Export Plugin for Gallery2

I was a huge fan of PictureSync while I was using iPhoto.  Recently though, I have purchased a digital SLR, started shooting in RAW, and begun using Aperture solely as my Digital Photography software. (see original post I made)

For awhile I was exporting my Aperture projects into iPhoto so I could upload via Picture sync since the upload features for Gallery2 are less than useable for me.

I grew weary of that really quick, and dug up a plugin that allows you to manage all your uploads from Aperture to Gallery2.

Ubermind to the rescue.  First, it lets you create folders in your gallery:

As you can see it is very easy to create new albums.

Next, it will allow for easy description, short name, and comments for your album

Last but not least, it lets you format your photos however you see fit:

Another option (seen in the first screen capture) you can have your images renamed to whatever you like as well.
